Willcox Unified School District

Our district continues to grow in leaps and bounds. We have one elementary school consisting of  kindergarten through fourth grade; one middle school housing fifth through eighth grades; and one high school for ninth through twelfth grades. We employ over 80 certified teachers who dedicate their time and talents to our students every day.

We are very proud of all our schools have to offer students, including ESL, special education resources, fine arts classes, computer labs, and all day kindergarten. We are lucky to have an incredibly supportive community who supports our schools, teachers, students, and fundraisers. We owe a large part of our success to the people who live within our community.

Bonita Elementary

Bonita

A Pretty Place To Be!

Bonita School is a small, rural, K-8 school located at the foot of Mt. Graham on the edge of the Coronado National Forest. The school is in Graham County, Arizona approximately 40 miles from Safford, and 30 miles from Willcox.

The student population is currently at 105 and this count rarely fluctuates more than 10% up or down. Class sizes average 10 to 12 students.

The staff consists of twelve certificated teachers, eight support staff, and one district administrator.

Joanne Todd Christian School

Joanne Todd Christian School, a ministry of First Baptist Church of Willcox, is committed to educating the student not only in the three R’s of reading, ‘riting, and ‘rithmetic, but also in how to live Godly lives in Christ Jesus. In order to achieve this, we here at JTCS  use the time tested curriculum provided by ABEKA that places an emphasis upon the Word of God and academics at the highest of standards.

Ash Creek School

We are a small rural school, preschool through 8th grade, located in the heart of the beautiful Sulphur Springs Valley. Ash Creek School began as a one-room schoolhouse in 1910. Today, we are proud to be an innovative small school.
